My Kindle
My favourite piece of technology is my Kindle. Well actually, there are other things that are useful in my everyday life and that I like a lot but my Kindle has special value for me.I bought my Kindle about 15 years ago. It's the first version and with Kindle Fire and the newest ones you can do lots of things because they're very similar to a Tablet, but I can't with mine. I have over a hundred books on it and my Kindle is not enabled for different alphabets so I can't have books in Japanese which is a shame, but well there is a reason why it's very important for me...
I bought my Kindle the first year I started working and had a contract. It was kind of expensive at the time but it was a dream come true to be able to have so many books in such a light device. It's much lighter than a lot of the books I have, and it meant having extensive knowledge at hand. Nowadays, you can also just read books on your phone so my Kindle is kind of obsolete in more ways than one...
I guess what made my Kindle important, was that it gave me a sense of pride because I was able to buy myself. Having my Kindle allowed me to carry my passion everywhere I went, without hurting my back, but nowadays I use the Kindle app on my phone and it's much more practical and I don't need to carry any extra weight.

ResponderBorrarYes, they use a special type of ink so that it's not bright like a 'regular screen'.
BorrarAh well, I was going to ask precisely for this, how is it that you can read so much on a screen without you running out of eyes!
