blog 2- choice of area of study
BLOG 2- CHOOSING A PROGRAM

Why did you choose to study this?
I studied English Literature because the authors that I liked the most and that had the greatest impact in my life, wrote and write, in English. I feel I can connect to English as a language better than I can to Spanish. Another advantage is that I've always loved reading so studying something which involved doing a lot of reading, didn't seem terrible...I honestly didn't give much thought as to what I could do with my degree after I graduated and my family was worried I would not be able to make enough money, but my mom gave me her support because I told her I felt that's where my path was.
At some point I actually wanted to study Law, which would have earned me more money, but I don't regret my choice even when the going gets tough.
